Didn't Romney invent this healthcare mandate in Massachusetts?

Obama needed to lose this to win in November. Now the right has alll the ammo they need. Of course, the illegal vote will still win it for the black guy because he's special. LOL.

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney said Thursday that the Supreme Court ruling upholding President Obama’s health care law means that the only way now to remove the law is to remove the president in the November election. “This is a time of choice for the American people. Our mission is clear: If we want to get rid of Obamacare, we have to replace President Obama,” Mr. Romney said, during a brief press conference across the street from the U.S. Capitol. Mr. Romney, a former Massachusetts governor, claimed that the Affordable Care Act amounts to a $500 billion tax increase and would strip $500 billion from the Medicare program. Under the law, he warned, tens of millions of Americans would have to change their health care providers, trillions of dollars would be lumped onto the national debt, and jobs would be lost.

What part of they own us don't you understand....

We can't protecty our borders fron foreign invasion and now we can't buy our own insurance without government approval. The list of things we can do is almost non existent.

Robert Reich (Roberts' Switch)

Today a majority of the Court upheld the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as Obamacare in recognition of its importance as a key initiative of the Obama administration. The big surprise, for many, was the vote by the Chief Justice of the Court, John Roberts, to join with the Court’s four liberals.   Roberts’ decision is not without precedent. Seventy-five years ago, another Justice Roberts – no relation to the current Chief Justice – made a similar switch. Justice Owen Roberts had voted with the Court’s conservative majority in a host of 5-4 decisions invalidating New Deal legislation, but in March of 1937 he suddenly switched sides and began joining with the Court’s four liberals.  In popular lore, Roberts’ switch saved the Court – not only from Franklin D. Roosevelt’s threat to pack it with justices more amenable to the New Deal but, more importantly, from the public’s increasing perception of the Court as a partisan, political branch of government.

Oil, oil, oil.....

Watch the price of oil. Boom or bust it's oil, oil, oil. We live or die in this shit. Nothing is really counted as wealth except the black gold. Everything we eat, wear, buy, need comes from the thin line of tankers and trucks. Screw it up and crash as Jimmy Carter found out and now Obama is paying the price.

In 2008  oil prices sky rocketed and the banking system crashed through the floor.

Some coincidence, right? NOT!

As I've posted before, oil prices drop, we boom. Maybe to late for the ignoramus in the White House but that's the way our "global economy" works, elections or no elections.

Oba mama could have saved himself by opening all drilling and selling the reserves at cost. Oil would be back in the 70 or 80 range a year or so earlier, as I thought it would and we would be bitching about the Oba mama boom and the coming inflation. (and no, the arrogant leader ain't getting off no way no how LOL)

Imagine getting beat by a Mormon in magic underwear, for God's sake!

Sober Look: Crude oil vs. US equities: dislocation continues

In this recent post we discussed the seeming dislocation between levels of crude oil price (in this case WTI) and US equities (S&P500). Some readers have pointed out however that this may be driven by unusually high US crude inventories (particularly in Cushing OK, where WTI futures settle). The US crude stocks have indeed been on the rise, materially above the 5-year range.

This is news?..............

I bet you can't wait until 2100 AD right? LOL

Report: Calif. to get seas rising 6 inches by 2030 - Washington Times

The West Coast will see an ocean several inches higher in coming decades, with most of California expected to get sea levels a half foot higher by 2030, according to a report released Friday. The study by the National Research Council gives planners their best look yet at how melting ice sheets and warming oceans associated with climate change will raise sea levels along the country’s Pacific coast. It is generally consistent with earlier global projections, but takes a closer look at California, Oregon and Washington. Although the 6 inches expected for California by 2030 seem minor, the report estimated that sea levels there will be an average of 3 feet higher by 2100. About 72 percent of the state’s coast is covered by sandy cliffs, and the rest include beaches, sand dunes, bays and estuaries. Seaside cliffs will be cut back about 30 yards over the next 100 years, and sand dunes will be driven back even more, said Robert A. Dalrymple, a professor of civil engineering at Johns Hopkins University and chairman of the group that wrote the report. Coastal wetlands will be able to keep pace for about 50 years, but will eventually be overwhelmed without new sources of sand, and room to move inland. The report noted that dams ho

reducing interest rate to broke dicks is a waste of time.

The Fed’s Shooting Blanks | PRAGMATIC CAPITALISM

In the midst of the U.S. economic slowdown, the ability of the Fed to do much more is doubtful.  Despite the Fed’s reduction of its growth estimate and its increase in the unemployment projection, the action it took is minimal and unlikely to help.  As we wrote in last week’s Special Report, “.the easiest and most reliable measures have already been taken and any remaining weapons are unorthodox, untried and subject to unknown negative side effects”. Chairman Bernanke essentially confirmed this at yesterday’s press conference, when in answer to a reporter’s question, he said, “.the types of unconventional programs that are now available.we know less about them.they have various costs and risks, and for that reason, we might get a different amount of financial accommodation in this kind of regime than one where short-term interest rates can be varied freely”.  He added that a larger Fed balance sheet would be harder to reduce later, could impair markets or foster financial instability.  Although Bernanke did say that the Fed was not out of ammunition, we got the impression that the Fed had done pretty much all it can and that factors such as Europe and the U.S. “fiscal cliff” were beyond the Fed’s control.

Told you they weren't serious about budget deficits.....

There will be no cuts no where no how! Not exactly rocket science that budget cutting, real budget cutting is not possible with our system of government . Too many voters too many on the big government tit.

And taking money out of our pockets destroys the economy. Proof? Watch Europe desintergrate until fiscal hawks are run out of office and then spend spend spend. (I'm betting they start using our dollar which means they have to take a big hit in wages and pensions or borrow from our Fed and knuckle under to our regime.)

We have to remember that all commodities on the planet are priced in dollars and we have the muscle to enforce it. Just ask the Arabs. Or the Iraqies. And let's not forget the idiots in Iran who are figuring it out. LOL.

Congress won't let Panetta close bases - Washington Times

Congress is poised to deliver a defeat to the Obama administration on one of its main defense policies in the new budget — base closings. Both the House and Senate Armed Services committees have produced fiscal 2013 spending bills that deny Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta’s request to set up a Base Realignment and Closure Commission (BRAC) next year — the sixth since 1988. Some in defense circles say it is the result of election-year politics and members of Congress will realize next year that they need to heed top Pentagon officials who have testified that they have too much infrastructure and not enough money. “It is election-year posturing,” said an aerospace executive who monitors BRAC. Others are not so sure, saying base closings would put thousands of people out of work in a tepid job market.

Read this slowly........

4.2 million for what???? I need to get in on some of this easy money. Jesus, 4.2 million for fake hard ons. You got to love this government, right? LOL.

Medicare-claims fraud suspected for penis pumps - Washington Times

A new report by federal auditors says a Kansas-based company may have paid out as much as $4.2 million in potentially fraudulent Medicare claims for penis pumps, and the auditors are asking the company to refund the government the money. The Health and Human Services inspector general said it sampled 100 claims made with Pos-T-Vac, the Dodge City-based penis-pump manufacturer, and found improprieties in more than half of payments for what are known as “male vacuum erection systems.” The errors ranged from the company’s failing to maintain proof that it delivered the pumps to customers, to one instance when the physician’s approval order wasn’t even signed by the doctor. Together, those claims from the small sample amounted to $18,007 in billings, and when multiplied across Pos-T-Vac’s entire set of 28,088 claims, the potential for fraudulent payments came to more than $4.2 million in 2008 and 2009, the auditors said.

Greece as Victim - NYTimes.com

Ever since Greece hit the skids, we’ve heard a lot about what’s wrong with everything Greek. Some of the accusations are true, some are false — but all of them are beside the point. Yes, there are big failings in Greece’s economy, its politics and no doubt its society. But those failings aren’t what caused the crisis that is tearing Greece apart, and threatens to spread across Europe. Fred R. A leftist but his analysis his spot on....

Economics that our system is built on is apolitical left alone. However, the disagreement amongst the right and the left is basically whether we spend the money on Democrat constituencies or Republican therefor making them politically at loggerheads......

More social spending versus more military spending. Social spending on existing programs boosts the economy immediately, while military spending boosts large campaign contributors income. Both are effective when the economy is going strong but getting the economy out of Depression means we need a large amount of cash in your and my hands to buy up all the private debt that is crushing the consumer.

As I've been posting (yes, I like being proven correct!) send us a big check and the Depression is over!

(until the next one, anyways.) because unemployed broke dicks can't buy shit. And employed broke dicks can't borrow shit. That means that our employers can't hire the unemployed if no one can buy anything.

Just what part of this don't they understand?

Answer..... Most of the people who own us understand this just fine. It's just a simple fact that no one wants to lose the power to boss us around and secure their little gang in control of the government and our economy!

And as for balancing budgets, ala Europe, this a disaster that will make the last Depression look like a fart in the windstorm!

So what's next? I expected A boom by now but oil speculation has so far crushed it as Oba mama hasn't a clue of what's going on. I have to admit that historians will be hard pressed to blame him as he is boxed in by the Republicans and the Dems have abandoned him in Congress. The Clintons are jockying for the 2016 nomination and sticking Oba mama in the ass. (you can't make this shit up!)

The unions got their asses kicked in Wisconsin, a stalwart leftwing lala land, last week.Who would have beleved it.Hell' even Romney looks good compared to the poor bastard in the BIG HOUSE. LOL.

Hey, at least Patti and I are set for retirement. We have a roof over our heads and my old truck to pull it. Remember, once your able to get out of state your creditors are screwed so worse comes to worse we are out of here and headed for SUNSHINE!!

Robert Reich (Why The Economy Can't Get Out of First Gear)

The Fed’s latest report shows how loud that pop was. Between 2007 and 2010 (the latest data available) American families’ median net worth fell almost 40 percent – down to levels last seen in 1992. The typical family’s wealth is their home, not their stock portfolio – and housing values have dropped by a third since 2006. Families have also become less confident about how much income they can expect in the future. In 2010, over 35% of American families said they did not “have a good idea of what their income would be for the next year.” That’s up from 31.4% in 2007. But because their incomes and their net worth have both dropped, families are saving less. The proportion of families that said they had saved in the preceding year fell from 56.4% in 2007 to 52% in 2010, the lowest level since the Fed began collecting that information in 1992. Bottom line: The American economy is still struggling because the vast American middle class can’t spend more to get it out of first gear. What to do? There’s no s

What policies can the Republicans run against?

Oba mama doesn't have much done so far as the Democrats have deserted him in Congress. Of course, without passing a budget little harm is happening in Washington.

I hope this continues for many years until we get the government out of ruining our private lives. No budget increases mean no new taxes and new socialist programs which the left and the right want to ram down our throats.

Obama budget defeated 99-0 in Senate - Washington Times

The White House has held its proposal out as a "balanced approach" to beginning to rein in deficits. It calls for tax increases to begin to offset higher spending, and would begin to level off debt as a percentage of the economy by 2022. It would produce $6.4 trillion in new deficits over that time. By contrast the chief Republican alternative from the House GOP would notch just $3.1 trillion in deficits, and three Senate Republican alternatives would all come in below $2 trillion. The Senate is holding votes Wednesday on Mr. Obama's budget, the House GOP's budget and the three Senate Republican alternatives. None was expected to gain the 50 votes needed to pass the chamber.

Jesus made me do it....

Says so in the Bible. Honor your mother and father. Bitch.....LOL. At least ( we don't think) he didn't play stinky finger. Just put the fear of the Lord in her dumb ass......

He'll probably double the size of the church. After all, hating whitey works for Oba mama's preacher, Wright, didn't it? so, strangling an errant child should at leasty be good for a few new thousands in contributions, right?

Tell me again why anyone in their right minds would pay a bit of attention to these con artists? Remember Jimmy Swagart, Dolly Parton and Jerry Lee Lewis' cousin?

Got caught with paying for whores with contributions. But he was famous for blowing the whistle on Jimmy Baker for whoring around and robbing his own church.

How about Peter Popoff, exposed on TV using a ear piece to receive information from his wife while she was  in the audience suposidly talking to parisheners while Popoff was talking to their dead relatives.

If you need more,go here for a partial list.

And we wont even bother with the Catholics. But what in the Hell is wrong with the Jews and Moslems. Got a be at least one scumbag but sex doesn't seem to be of much interest with these guys....Or they are just smarter and sneakier than the nitwits in Christianity!

Megachurch pastor Creflo Dollar denies punching, choking daughter - Washington Times

The Rev. Creflo Dollar on Sunday staunchly denied he punched and choked his 15-year-old daughter in an argument, telling the congregation of his Atlanta-area megachurch that the allegations made in a police report are nothing but “exaggeration and sensationalism.” “I will say this emphatically: I should have never been arrested,” Mr. Dollar said in his first public appearance two days after police charged him with misdemeanor counts of simple battery and cruelty to children. The pastor got an enthusiastic ovation as he took the pulpit at the World Changers Church International in this Atlanta suburb. He addressed the criminal charges head-on for several minutes before moving on to his sermon. “I want you all to hear personally from me that all is well in the Dollar household,” Mr. Dollar said.

Weather more like April...

Nothing but rain. Can't wait to head south for retirement. Need to finish up here then I'm gone. Moving in slow but sure as I tweaked my back and Patti can'do much so we just shuffle along. Simon never made it to the shelter so , who knows? Patti and I will leave here for Walmart tomorrow afternoon so we can catch a movie and dinner to celebrate our 42 years together.

Back to work....

Pack her up and head for Walmart. Batteries and water held up well last week but was for only 3  days. This week it will be for five.

We spent the weekend packing the kitchen in here with 7 or 8 cases of can goods in the back of the pickup. The guys who build these things don't expect pack rat survival types to move in to them fulltime, I would guess. The mobile still has our clothing, my hand tools, and a lot of miscelaneous items to be sorted and sold. (need to find a home for my flytying stuff)

The neighbor lady said she would take care of Missy, our other cat, since we lost Simon. Don't think she believes we are too responsible for losing such a great guy. Me either.

Krugman finally comes around....

Next thing you know he will declare himself a new monatery theorist.  basically, government debt is part of  our national income and when we receive it we pay taxes back to the treasury and our spending is taxed by it's recipient etc, etc.

But we right wingers believe that government as it exists today is the enemy of freedom and no one knows how to curb it's eventual domination of everything in the world. Except scaring the fuck out of ignorant voters to kill the very Social Programs that sustains millions of people.

Does anyone believe I'll vote for Romney to cut Social Security, Medicare, student loans, VA retirement checks, etc. (let alone use the money to raise military spending and pay off the fat cats who have been exploiting the tax payers for ever) so he can save a couple of million a year in his personal taxes?

Didn't I ever tell you that the right has lost this argument and needs to find  something else. It's over. Done. No one can cut spending without crashing the economy and put us back to 2008. Let alone back to the 30's!

Watch Europe implode. No one can figure it out over there but cutting out cash to the broke dicks addicted to it is  politically impossible to do and remain a VIABLE NATION.

The Austerity Agenda - NYTimes.com

The bad metaphor — which you’ve surely heard many times — equates the debt problems of a national economy with the debt problems of an individual family. A family that has run up too much debt, the story goes, must tighten its belt. So if Britain, as a whole, has run up too much debt — which it has, although it’s mostly private rather than public debt — shouldn’t it do the same? What’s wrong with this comparison? The answer is that an economy is not like an indebted family. Our debt is mostly money we owe to each other; even more important, our income mostly comes from selling things to each other. Your spending is my income, and my spending is your income. So what happens if everyone simultaneously slashes spending in an attempt to pay down debt? The answer is that everyone’s income falls — my income falls because you’re spending less, and your income falls because I’m spending less. And, as our incomes plunge, our debt problem gets worse, not better.

Back in Bonners Ferry today....

Still moving in but I'm not that big of a hurry because I will sell this place in July or August and for now we can do laundry and use the internet and hold big yard sales for top dollar.

I'm installing my 32" TV and blue ray player in the bedroom next week. Need to get everything sorted out and sell a bunch of shit that Patti won't part with (let alone the pile I got!).

Nobody said the full time RV lifestyle was going to be easy.

I'm going to do a few Youtube videos sometime this week just to show everybody where we are at in this great adventure.

My posting will be erratic after monday but I'll keep ypou guys informed.

Living large at Wallyworld....

We setup the new trailer for the this week at work and then we head back to Bonners Ferry on Sunday to get fully moved in and get the mobile home ready for sale. Need to get rid of a few more bills, like internet and Netflix home delivery and take care of a lot of stuff.

We get a weak, but usable, internet connection from the parking lot but since we go to Mickey D's every morning for coffee no sense paying for surfing the web I just need to amplify the signal.

I plan on installing a couple of 12 volts outlets for the charger and maybe a crockpot, we'll see. Also, I need a wifi Antenna, bridge,  and router set up for a better internet connection.

Also, have a charger set up for the laptop and Ipad in the truck. Then I'll fire up the generator if we want to watch TV or a movie. Nice that Walmart has a Redbox less than a block away.

And it would appear that the batteries and tanks are holding up so no worry over hitching up and emptying them right away.

The only bad thing is that I lost my old buddy, Simon, who disappeared, a couple of nights ago. Put him outside and he was gone in the morning. Had him for 12 years doesn't feel right without him.

I'll only post a few times a week until I work out my internet connection.
