Oil producing nations exploding into chaos. The armies of these countries will eventually crack down, like in Egypt, and it will be awhile before the oil supply becomes stable. Nothing fucks up the status quo like economic busts and the ensuing scramble for printing press money.
And as we've seen in the good old U.S.A it's tough on politician's careers.
So they believe they better steal more of our hard earned money and fuck us out of some of our hand outs that way straightening out their budgets. Not that they dare take the goodies away from their owners. This will probably, as happened to the clowns in 2010, mean they get massacred at the poles.
