Early in the game so may not affect his reelection. But 6 or 7 bucks a gallon ain't good for any incumbent.None the less right now Romney better start praying harder so he doesn't get whipped worse than McCain.

I can say that Rick Santorum is the guy to beat in 2016 when there will be no incumbent in the White House. This is the pattern in the Republican party. The party picks a liberal who get's his ass kicked and then the genius' in the party run and hide and the conservatives take over and get the White House back.
Of course, this just proves that there's not a nickles difference between The Repubs and Dems, only between the minorities making up the right and left.
