Think we are kidding?.....

Or exaggerating?

One wonders about running an empire on borrowing money from one group of supplicants and bombing another?
LewRockwell.com Blog: Notes on the Empire

So the emperor of the world, Obama I, calls the US-installed leaders of two of his provinces, Afghanistsan and Pakistan, to Karnak on the Potomac, to be scolded. Scolded is not quite the word for this relationship, of course, since Obama can order their deaths with a wink to the CIA. But isn't it an insult to bring the leaders of two traditional enemies at the same time, and virtually make them fan the pharoah with ostrich feathers? Few Americans seem able to put themselves in the other guy's shoes, but no one likes being ruled by foreigners, let alone by foreigners who like to rub their faces in their subordinate status. The US empire isn't even a smart empire.
